Oh my goodness, what a phenomenal experience I had at Room of Beauty Body and Soul! This charming organic spa located in Winter Park, FL might be little, but it has a big heart!
Room of Beauty Body and Soul is owned by the amazing Jessica Clark. Jessica specializes in massage therapy, essential oil treatments, facials, and other organic skin therapies.
Right when I pulled up to the spa, I could feel the peaceful energy, and knew immediately this place was special.
Since Jessica and I had been connecting over email and social media for a few weeks, we shared a big hug right when I walked in. It was great to finally meet her in person!
I was first asked to fill out paperwork, answering questions about my history and how I currently treat my skin. After I handed that over, Jessica gave me a tour of her spa. I loved this because it shows how much care and thought goes into giving the client a full experience from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. I usually walk into a spa, have a seat, and wait for my name to be called! This is just one of the many things that makes this spa unique.
Jessica started the tour by introducing me the inspiring artwork that she sells by Kelly Rae Roberts:
Then, she went over all of the her treatments and the products she uses. I was thrilled to hear that everything she uses is organic, cruelty free, and vegan.
She uses products from Eminence in all of her facials. This line is so fresh and pure that I could see the pulp when I opened the products from the elderberries, sour cherries, and other natural ingredients. It was like they just picked and packaged it a few minutes before I arrived! Some of the other common ingredients are hibiscus, coconut, and their most popular is Stone Crop, a hungarian Aloe Vera plant.
There are so many other amazing products that Jessica introduced me to, but first I want to tell you all about this facial!
Jessica brought me back in the room, where she asked me about any skin problems, emotional imbalances and environmental factors that could be causing the skin concerns. After that, I got comfortable in the heated massage bed, and the facial began.
The first thing she did was massaged her hands over my skin. It was obvious to me at this moment that Jessica is not just a skin professional, but a healer. She told me later that she actually closes the eyes as she massages her hands over the skin to feel for imbalances and other skin abnormalities.
The next step was to cleanse my skin, and then steam with enzymes. She began by massaging my neck, shoulders, and arms. She also gave me a hand massage and then placed warm gloves over my hands. Hand massages are my favorite, so I was thrilled about this. This was the part where I started to go in and out of sleep. It felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders and I could finally relax.
As we went on, the facial became even more in depth as she started extractions, where the pores are cleaned out, and a soothing facial massage.
One of my favorite parts to this facial was the spicy products. Jessica told me at the beginning she was going to use spicy products on my skin, and she assured me that it wouldn’t burn, but just feel a little hot. She told me how the spicy products help the blood travel to the top which is why the skin becomes red. These products work wonderfully because they end up increasing blood flow thereby improving circulation. It was really fascinating to feel the impurities being removed as the products changed in temperature.
She went on to exfoliate my skin with an invigorating facial masque, then applied a serum, a moisturizer with SPF, and an eye serum.
She closed with a lip balm, which I have to say felt extraordinary, so much that I purchased the lip balm before I left! I guess sometimes it’s the little things that make a big difference!
Now that the facial was complete, I was a little sad, but felt totally satisfied. She took the warm gloves off my hands, and rubbed more moisturizer into my skin as I was starting to gain back my awareness.
I was still feeling more relaxed and free than I can remember. I wasn’t just receiving a skin treatment, but this was a full mind and body healing experience.
You have to try this!
Another experience Jessica offers is called the Raindrop Technique by Young Living, which is an essential oil treatment. These are therapeutic-grade essential oils that deliver positive benefits to the body through smell, direct absorption into the skin, and by ingesting to bring balance to all systems of the body. Definitely going to try this next!
I ended my experience by purchasing the Tropical Lemongrass Soap from the Florida Soap Company, which made my bathroom smell amazing every day, and my skin feel soft. I love that she has all of these natural, vegan, and organic products. I felt like a kid in a candy store!

Love this review! The best massage I had was when I was about 35 weeks pregnant and EVERYTHING hurt. My massage therapist was wonderful, and helped me get in a good physical and mental space for giving birth.
